Meetings are held twice a month on the 2nd (Regular Business) and 4th (Officers) Thursdays, at 7:30
pm. The council also hosts a Parish Rosary before the Officers
meeting starting at 7:00 PM in the Chapel. The Rosary highlights
the Luminous
Mysteries and is sometimes followed by a Benediction. More information on the Rosary can be found on the St. Francis Parish Web site.
Our
council
hosts a large number of council activities throughout the year including:
Pancake Breakfasts:
Approximately Seven times per year, the Knights put on a pancake breakfast on Sunday after Mass. These breakfasts, totally based on freewill
offerings, are our largest fundraiser with the proceeds of each targeted to a designated fundraiser. The breakfast menu is pancakes, french toast,
biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, link and patty sausage, applesauce, coffee, tea, juice
and hot chocolate.
Assisting with Parish Events:
Regularly,
the
Knights volunteer to assist with parish dinners and lunches.
Community Events:
The Knights have a
trailer (courtesy of Don Liss, Paul Thornton, Gregg
Pauly and a few other members) in which the knights sell food at various events for fund raising such as the Sherwood Robin hood
Festival and the
Cruising' Sherwood Hot Rod Show.
Annual Activities:
Annual
activities
